LAGOS EAST SENATORIAL DISTRICT BYE ELECTION



Our dear Ikorodu Division Youth,


Just as we head to the senatorial bye-election poll on Saturday 05th, December, 2020, we congratulate you all for successfully narrowing down the election to a strictly Ikorodu affair, impliedly head or tail Ikorodu owns the victory and this is the greatest triumph for us.


However, it remains overly sancrosact that we do not consider this a reason to show apathy towards the election,the votes are still neeeded as a further testament to the electoral strength inherent in Ikorodu as a division, on this premise we urge that we troop out enmasse to authenticate our preferred choice in the polls, we should make the strongest statement to the audibility of all that whoever ignores Ikorodu division in the scheme of things is to his or her peril.


On a final note, it is never in our interest to embrace violence of any sort before and after the polls, what should come after the much coveted victory for the division should be ethical celebrations, we should be deliberate about eschewing violence and make it a point of duty to protect each other rather than reduce our already gathered numerical strength through fighting one another.


We wish all the political parties luck in this election and pray for further elevation of the division.

Igbega Ikorodu's Samson Bisiriyu Awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree

The Convener of Igbega Ikorodu Movement, Comrade Samson Bisiriyu has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Ultimate University of Science and Technology, Republic of Benin. Comrade Samson Bisiriyu who is also a former aspirant of Ikorodu consistuency 1 at the Lagos State State House of Assembly in the last 2023 general elections was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration during the Convocation ceremony of the prestigious University in the Republic of Benin. Dr. Samson Bisiriyu who had been one of the topmost voices clamoring for the development of Ikorodu was awarded the degree in Public Administration for his unrivaled urge for the growth of his community. In a joint congratulatory message by the executive members of Igbega Ikorodu Movement, the organization saluted it's Convener on this current achievement, noting that this didn't come as a surprise because Dr. Samson Bisiriyu is known as someone poised for excellence.
