Ikorodu Division Youths Tasks Federal Lawmakers On Constitutional Review

Ikorodu Youth Memorandum was presented by Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative (I.D.Y.I) & accepted by Senators Representating Lagos State the National Assembly. Key Agenda include; Youth Inclusiveness in Local Govt Administration & Adoption of Lagos State 37 Local Council Developmeny Areas(LCDAs) as recognized Local Governments in Part1 of the First Schedule of the 1999 Nigeria Constitution  Present at the event were; Comrade Samson Bisiriyu, MPA Executive, Director, IDYI and Ms Aizighode Obinyan, Esq  Representing Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative AGENDA.  The event is an ongoing conversation as regards the review of the 1999 Nigeria Constitution hosted by the Zonal body of the Lagos lawmakers in Lagos State. SOS: ATTEMPT BY SOME PARTY OFFICIALS TO WORK AGAINST THE INTEREST OF THE YOUTHS WITHIN THE APC IN IKORODU DIVISION We want to draw the attention of  the Apex APC party leaders to an attempt by some party officials to subvert the process of election and appointment  of candidates as enshrined in your party constitution  article 20 section i-iv. According to information available at our disposal, some party officials are threatening other party officials and members to unanimously accept their choice candidates in an attempt to impose the candidate on the party before the scheduled party primaries. We also understand that this attempted coup is taking place in areas within ikorodu division where youths are contesting in the primary elections. Senator Tokunbo Abiru Launches Bursary Scheme For Indigent Students In Lagos East

Charges Bursary Advisory Board To Be Fair, Transparent_    The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA has launched a registration portal for bursary application for indigent students of the Lagos East District who are studying in Lagos State-owned tertiary institutions.
