Our Father *Sir (Chief ) Babatunde Olusola Benson, SAN, KJW* who died at age of 88 years Baba B.O Benson means a lot to Ikorodu Kingdom, as he his one of those that dedicated all their life to the development of Ikorodu Division, Lagos and Nigeria as a whole. In what appears as another major success of it's mission and vision, the Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative (IDYI) has again facilitated another empowerments for people living within it's division. In a statement by it's Executive Director, Comrade Samson Bisiriyu, the group expresses it's utmost satisfaction in the activities of the Commissioner for Agriculture in Lagos State for her major contribution towards the welfare of Ikorodu people. Ikorodu Youths Presents Recommendations To HoR Members At Public Hearing

It was another remarkable day on Tuesday at the House of Representatives Public Hearing on Nigeria 1999 Constitution Review (Lagos, Ogun and Oyo centers).  The voice of Ikorodu Division Youths (Indigenous Youth Voice) was represented by Comrade Samson Bisiriyu of the Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative. Samson had the opportunity of Presenting recommendations and recognition of the 37LCDAs as Local Governments in Nigeria and Implementation of NotTooYoungToRun bill at Local Government Administration amongst others.
