IDYI Facilitates Empowerment for Young Entrepreneurs Through Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Ruth Olusanya



In what appears as another major success of it's mission and vision, the Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative (IDYI) has again facilitated another empowerments for people living within it's division. In a statement by it's Executive Director, Comrade Samson Bisiriyu, the group expresses it's utmost satisfaction in the activities of the Commissioner for Agriculture in Lagos State for her major contribution towards the welfare of Ikorodu people.

"In Commitment to our mission as Indigenous Divisional Youth Voice for the voiceless Youths. Today, JUNE 18,2021.Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative (IDYI), handover One Sewing Machine to Ms Sofiat's (an apprentice From Ikorodu North LCDA) and one Pepper grinding machine to Mrs Banjo's (a Widow from Imota LCDA) as Empowerment. This kind gesture was Facilitated by Our amiable Sister, Ms Abisola Olusanya, Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture through the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation," he said.

It is important to note that, this is the 3rd Batch of 2021 Ikorodu Division Youth Empowerment Scheme.
