Don't Sell Your Votes To Political Kingpins, Bisiriyu Begs Delegates

It's no news that electioneering activities have begun in all the 36 States of the federation, in full preparation for the 2023 general elections.

Lagos State, the Centre of Excellence is not left out in this exercise. In the past few days, posters of different aspirants vying for various political offices are seen in the nook and crannies of the state.

Prince Samson Bisiriyu, the former Director of Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative (IDYI) and aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency 1 has pleaded with delegates of the great party to shun the thought of selling their votes to political kingpins.

He made the remarks while addressing a group of journalists and party stakeholders at the APC Secretariat in Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State ahead of the party's primary elections, assuring that his representation would ensure the betterment and productivity of all constituents in all ramifications if elected.

According to him,  "Let me use this medium to plead with the delegates and voters to avoid stomach politics by all means. It is a menace and it robs the electorates of their voices and jeopardizes the future of our children.

"I know that the needs of the people are uppermost in the minds of the delegates of our great party, the APC. It would be a taboo and betrayal of trust for the delegates to overlook the needs of the people by accepting bribe to vote in people who would not represent the interests of the people while in power."
