Friends And Associates Presents Nomination Form To Samson Bisiriyu

The friends and associates of Prince Samson Bisiriyu on Sunday, 8th May, 2022, presented a nomination form and expression of interest form to a frontline aspirant, Prince Samson Bisiriyu, contesting as member of House of Assembly, Ikorodu constituency 1, Lagos State.

The presentation of the form which was formally presented by Godwin Oke and Prince Kareem, close allies of Samson Bisiriyu, was said to be done in solidarity to Samson's ambition.

In his speech, Godwin said, “Samson has been a very dedicated friend for years. Many of us who had grew up together knew ourselves back then. Over the years, we had seen how impactful we all could be to the society, particularly as we all contribute our own quota to the development of our society. Samson is one of those always coming to the table with ideas and ways of solving societal problems, especially as it affects the youth”

He stressed further that; "In Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative (IDYI), Samson was one of those always at the forefront coming up with ideas and ways to solve some of the challenges and we believe that, this is just our own little way of supporting him in a real life political situations.

“This is the way the friends and associates could associate with one of us. Nigerian politics is beyond social media talk but taking active participation, to go out there and show support for Prince Samson Bisiriyu.

"We believe that with his pedigree and antecedents in youth development as a private citizen who is poised to seeing youth being emancipated for good and financially independent, he would do more when he clinches on the political power.

"He can do more as a public office holder and we are willing to support him with our resources to achieve this aim for him.”

While urging the people to support Samson, Godwin stressed that he was the man of the people who knows the challenges of the people and can solve it when he gets to office.

“The problems in the constituency are obvious. Samson is the one to solve these problems. He is a dependable and ethical person who keeps his words. Without being there, he has been doing a lot of things for the constituency”, Godwin said.

In his acceptance speech, Prince Samson said, “I am humble at the same time so surprised and also very happy for this show of love. This is just a gesture, I wasn’t even expecting this, I was contemplating because it came to me as one of the greatest surprises of my life.

“I have no choice to answer the call to those who knew me from my younger days and those who we went to the same secondary schools together. Therefore, the friendship is over twenty-five years. I can tell you that they know me from cradle.

"When we were all nothing and that is best of friendship and for them to have believed in me and able to put this up for me, I am very grateful to them.

“My aspirations for the youth in our constituency is a collective representation, I will want a situation whereby, we would have stakeholders meeting, town hall meeting every quarter where we meet with the people, know what their needs are with community engagement if I emerge as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the primaries and eventually wins the election at the general polls.”

Present at the event were family members, friends, business partners and associates of Prince Samson Bisiriyu.
