Samson Bisiriyu Campaign Organization Appoints Anita Joshua As It's DG



As gender inclusiveness, Anita Nse Joshua, a medical doctor, is the director-general of the Samson Bisiriyu Campaign Organization (SABCO).


Samson Bisiriyu, a Lagos House of Assembly aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), formally declared his intention to run for the seat of Ikorodu Constituency 1 at his official declaration after purchasing the party's expression of interest and nomination forms.


Born on the 11th, November 1990, Anita Nse Joshua hails from Akwa-Ibom state while Ikorodu remains her place of birth and a place she has lived all her life.


She had her Bachelor of Science in Medical Physiotherapy from Middlesex University, London, England.


Anita had her Advance Diploma in software engineering at Aptech Computer Education, Ghana. 


She also added an Advance Diploma in Plant and Human body therapy from Medipro Institute, Accra, Ghana.


Addressing the audience at the event, Anita Joshua said her appointment as the campaign DG is a historic achievement and a turning point for Ikorodu young women in politics.


Describing herself as a rare DG of an House of Assembly campaign organisation, she said women will no longer be cooks and singers during election campaigns.


"On this day, we start our march to our destiny. We have been sidelined for decades. Since the return of democracy in 1999 in Lagos, we have been struggling to put the Ikorodu people at the centre of our legislative business at the state level. Ikorodu people are endowed with techniques required for development and success but those who have been representing us do not have the prerequisite to activate the intellectual and material endowment into fusion," she said.


“It is with all sense of humility and due sense of history that we say to all Ikorodu people in our constituency 1 today that the train to our destiny is about to take off. We are all on the march to Ikorodu’s true destiny of being the "Oga" (Boss).


“I congratulate all the young women here. Ikorodu young women have been made into cooks and singers.

"Today, I have been appointed as the rare woman director-general of a LAHA campaign organisation.



"We are not just cooking, we are not just singing. We are going to build the Ikorodu of our dreams and one that would fit into the greater future of our children.


“Today, we signal to all the vested interests in Ikorodu that the takeover by Ikorodu young women, by Ikorodu's young people has begun. Nothing is going to stop our march to Alausa in 2023.”


Anita said she will lead the campaign across Ikorodu Constituency 1  to canvass support for our sellable, result-oriented and productive aspirant, Prince Samson Bisiriyu.

Igbega Ikorodu's Samson Bisiriyu Awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree

The Convener of Igbega Ikorodu Movement, Comrade Samson Bisiriyu has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Ultimate University of Science and Technology, Republic of Benin. Comrade Samson Bisiriyu who is also a former aspirant of Ikorodu consistuency 1 at the Lagos State State House of Assembly in the last 2023 general elections was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration during the Convocation ceremony of the prestigious University in the Republic of Benin. Dr. Samson Bisiriyu who had been one of the topmost voices clamoring for the development of Ikorodu was awarded the degree in Public Administration for his unrivaled urge for the growth of his community. In a joint congratulatory message by the executive members of Igbega Ikorodu Movement, the organization saluted it's Convener on this current achievement, noting that this didn't come as a surprise because Dr. Samson Bisiriyu is known as someone poised for excellence.
