Ikorodu Youth Supports Ms Olusanya For Reappointment, Seek More for Youth Inclusion


Youth are fully in support of the renomination of Ms. Abisola Olusanya As a Cabinet member, seek more Youth inclusion. 


According to the Group, NotTooYoungToRun Lagos State Stakeholders Ikorodu Division, In the first lap of Governor Sanwo-Olu's administration, Ms. Olusanya used her position and office as Special Adviser (SA) on Agriculture to the Governor and Honorable Commissioner of Agriculture to influence hundreds number of Youths in terms of Youth empowerment and job opportunities. Aside from our passionate Federal Lawmakers (Sen. Tokunbo Abiru and Rep Babajimi Benson), who all invested so much in the lives of our youth in terms of Youth development and empowerment through their offices.

Also, Mr, Leke Kara TESCOM former Commissioner, and Otunba Saheed Ibikunle SUBEB Board member who also influenced hundreds number of job opportunities for our youths in the last four years. Our former State lawmakers ( Hon N.S.Solaja and Hon SOB Agunbiade) also did their best through their offices.

Ms Olusanya, the youngest and first-timer holding a political office throughout her time in office made the youth proud as our Ambassador. More reason for our unrelenting support for her renomination as a cabinet member and agitating for more youth inclusion in the political process, especially those Youth that fully participated towards the victory of the APC in the last General Election. 

We are fully aware that,  she wasn't the only cabinet member we had from the Ikorodu division in the first term of His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's administration but to our dismay, she was the only one who identified with our people at the local level and made positive impact on the youth.

In one of our community  programs, one of our Apex leaders and GAC Member confessed in his statement that, this is the first time they are seeing a Commissioner giving these much resources back to her community.

Aside from our community service, her brilliant service to the reformation and development of Agriculture in Lagos state during the last administration can not be over-emphasized. 

We are also aware of our political support group Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu Youth SUPPORT (BOSYOPS) across Lagos state that works for reelection of Mr Governor.

We believe having her as cabinet member and more active youth in political office in this new administration will add more value to Ikorodu division development.

We are humbly asking for more youth inclusion in our political system.

Igbega Ikorodu's Samson Bisiriyu Awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree

The Convener of Igbega Ikorodu Movement, Comrade Samson Bisiriyu has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Ultimate University of Science and Technology, Republic of Benin. Comrade Samson Bisiriyu who is also a former aspirant of Ikorodu consistuency 1 at the Lagos State State House of Assembly in the last 2023 general elections was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration during the Convocation ceremony of the prestigious University in the Republic of Benin. Dr. Samson Bisiriyu who had been one of the topmost voices clamoring for the development of Ikorodu was awarded the degree in Public Administration for his unrivaled urge for the growth of his community. In a joint congratulatory message by the executive members of Igbega Ikorodu Movement, the organization saluted it's Convener on this current achievement, noting that this didn't come as a surprise because Dr. Samson Bisiriyu is known as someone poised for excellence.
