Ambassador Onafowokan KJW Launches Initiative to Distribute Free JAMB Forms To Indigent Students


In celebration of his 70th birthday, His Excellency, Ambassador, Sir Ademola Oluseyi Onafowokan, the Former Nigeria Ambassador to Ghana has launched FREE Jamb form and academic scholarship for indigent students in Ikorodu Public Schools. 

Igbega Ikorodu Movement, a leader in fostering educational opportunities, is proud to announce its latest opportunity championed by the Ambassador to distribute free JAMB forms for students preparing for great academic exploits. 

This program aims to remove financial barriers and ensure every student has the opportunity to achieve their academic goals.

Speaking about the initiative, Convener, Igbega Ikorodu Movement, Comrade Samson Bisiriyu, "we believe education is a fundamental right, not a privilege. By removing the cost of examination forms, we aim to empower students to pursue their dreams without financial constraints holding them back."

This program reflects Ambassador Sir Ademola Oluseyi's commitment to promoting equitable access to education. It is anticipated that tens of students will benefit from this initiative, providing them with the resources needed to start their tertiary academic journey without any reason for financial stress.


The three (4) trained Educationists within the Ikorodu Division, Comr. Ayodeji Akinrinlade , Comr Bolaji Ismail, Simisola Macaulay and Hon. Bola Mabunmi has been selected to help coordinate the program, the registration and educational guidance for candidates towards the success of the exam and subsequent admission processes.


Key Details of the Program:

Eligibility: Ikorodu Indigent students from low-income families, already successful in WAEC or NECO examinations from Public Schools within Ikorodu.

Application Process: Students can collect registration template from Mrs. Macaulay or Mr. Akinrinlade at Ayangburen Senior High School, Ikorodu.




Recall that in 2023, Igbega Ikorodu Movement launched impacted activities in Ikorodu Division with various Community Services such as Free Medical outreach across Ikorodu North LCDA,  Free Educational Career Orientation across the Public Secondary Schools within Ikorodu Division, also facilitating Career Job opportunities for Ikorodu Division Youths and Community Development Projects into various Communities within Ikorodu Division.
