2025 LG Poll: Samson Bisiriyu Throws Hat In The Ring for Ikorodu North LCDA Chairmanship


A renowned Community Builder, Youth Advocate and former Aspirant of Lagos State House of Assembly for Ikorodu Constituency 1, Dr. Samson Bisiriyu has officially makes his intent public to vie for the Chairmanship position of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area(LCDA).



Dr. Samson Bisiriyu had submitted his letter to the leaders and executives of Ikorodu North LCDA chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC).


In his speech, Samson said he has decided to consolidate on his progressive and development strides as an award-winning Community Developer and a prominent Youth advocate in Ikorodu division after wide consultations.


He noted that he has done everything humanly possible to support the Youthful populace in his community and pledged to put Ikorodu North first, as usual, if given the mandate.


“My blue prints will be that of His Excellency, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu which is centered on health, education, agriculture and human capital development.

"As you all already know, in our own-led government, the Youth will always come first," he said.

Who is Dr. Samson Bisiriyu?

He is a catalyst, motivational speaker, articulate and dynamic professional quintessential administrator, who believe that out of nothing there is something and with ideas of rebranding. Bring years of extensive dedicated study, spanning fields of peak performance management, organization productivity, human behavioral psychology, organizational and community transformation. Furthermore, a sound background in public and private administration, with hands –on experience in human relations and project management professional. Special interest in, public and private policy making, implementation and administration, also human relationship, community and social development project and services, willing to learn the existing and new technologies in other to increase efficiency in assigned tasks.

Dr. Samson is the founder of the most vibrant Youth Organization in Ikorodu division; Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative (I.D.Y.I).

He is a member of the prestigious School Of Politics, Policy & Governance Alumni Governing Board (SPPGAA)

 He is also a Member of  Ikorodu Division Human Resource Development Board (IDHRDG) and Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative Board (IDYIB).

State, Community, Social Development Project and Achievements


Samson Bisiriyu is the Initiator of Igbega-Eko(Students Educational Support program) and Igbega-Ilera ( Health Outreach Support program) Within the State & Ikorodu Division as Support for the Governor Sanwo-Olu's THEMES+ AGENDA.


Samson Bisiriyu also facilitated the employment of over 100 Youths into Lagos State Service, Agencies and Private companies in the  State and outside the shores of Nigeria.


He is also the facilitator of over 250 Youths in Agriculture and Skills acquisition programmes within Ikorodu division.

He is the Lead Convener of First Ikorodu Division Security Summit with support of NBA Ikorodu Branch and Ikorodu Division Stakeholders in restoring Peace and Sanity and Peace in Ikorodu Division in Support of Governor Sanwo-Olu THEME AGENDA.

He is the Founder, Ikorodu Division Youth Initiatives Movement. Most Influential Youth organization Ikorodu Division and 1st Youth organization to be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C) in Ikorodu Division. 

He also one of the facilitators of newly constructed 4.3Km Luckyfiber - Odogunyan link Road. A Federal Constituency Project which serves as a Compensation for the delivery all APC Candidates in his Ward/Polling Units by Hon. Babajimi Benson, MHR.


He is the Ikorodu Division Projects Officer for BudgIT Nigeria; a Foundation with Partnership with UK Support program on Local Government Accountability.

The IgbegaEko Project it's mandate to ensure academic excellence across Ikorodu North LCDA visited all Government Senior Secondary Schools in the Ikorodu North local council development area.
