LAHA'23: THE 3 PARAMOUNT RULERS IN IKORODU CONSTITUENCY 1 GAVE THEIR BLESSINGS FOR SAMSON BISIRIYU FOR LAHA'23

The respected traditional Rulers and Obas in Ikorodu Constituency 1 have rallied support and prayers for the man of the people, the man capable of changing the narratives, Hon. Samson Bisiriyu as he continues to consult with all stakeholders.  The traditional rulers reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the emergence of Samson Bisiriyu as the representative of Ikorodu Constituency 1 people in the hallowed chambers of Lagos State in 2023. THE JOURNEY THUS FAR: To God be the Glory. We have embarked on the journey, and we are making progressive strides as regards the support of relevant stakeholders and influencers. This journey has led us to meetings with necessary political leaders across Ikorodu Division, vis-à-vis community leaders for proper consultations. LAHA '23: Ikorodu West APC Backs Samson Bisiriyu

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and members within the Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Thursday, unanimously endorsed the candidacy of Samson Bisiriyu to run for the seat of Ikorodu Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly on the platform of the party in 2023 general elections. The stakeholders made the endorsement and ratification at the General Assembly of the LCDA chapter of the APC, held in Ikorodu. The local council chapter of the APC also calls on all members of the party to give maximum and unflinching support to the candidacy of Samson Bisiriyu in order to ensure he emerge as the party's flag-bearer in the forthcoming party primary elections.  The party members and chieftains expressed their optimism for a better representation under the candidacy of Samson Bisiriyu for Ikorodu Constituency 1.

CULTISM: POLICE STORM CULTISTS’ DEN IN IKORODU, ARREST THREE

Acting upon intelligence provided by civic-minded Lagosians, operatives of the CP Special Squad of the Command stormed some cultists’ den in Isawo, Ikorodu on April 16, 2022.  The timely raid led to the arrest of some suspected cultists and recovery of 2 locally made single barrel pistols, four live cartridges, several assorted charms, berets and an award plaque.  The arrested suspects, Oluwaseun Michael 'm' 31yrs a.k.a Coded, Adedotun Jelili 'm' 25yrs, and Solomon Moses 'm' 22yrs have provided useful information to the Police.  The Lagos State Police Command uses this medium to call on parents, guardians, traditional/religious/political/youth leaders to prevail on the teeming youth population to shun cultism and other vices.  Suspects will be charged to court at the completion of investigation.

Leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Ikorodu branch have drummed supports for Prince Samson Bisiriyu as the candidate for the 2023 legislative elections in Lagos State. Samson Bisiriyu Pays Condolence Visit To Alhaji Anifowose's Family

Samson Bisiriyu has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Alhaji Abideen Olukayode Anifowose who passed away earlier in the week. While speaking with one of the deceased children, Hon Segun Anifowose ( Former Sole Administrator Ikorodu West LCDA), Samson Bisiriyu eulogizes the late Apex leader of the APC in Ikorodu division. He stated that the likes of Baba is rare that Ikorodu has truly lost a rare gem. The death of Alhaji Anifowose came barely few months  after Ikorodu had lost three (3) of her prominent leaders.  The passing of the 82-year-old grassroots politician, interestingly, makes it the fourth time that Ikorodu Division will be bidding farewell to a political leader since the beginning of the year 2022. As the 2023 general elections gets closer, group initiates call for equity and fairness to be applied in the process of electing representative for Ikorodu Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly. The group citing the doctrine of "all-inclusiveness" explained the need for Ikorodu North and West to also present a representative after other regions in Ikorodu; Central and LG have all been represented between 1999 and 2019.
